Thanks for stopping by.

Re California, the whole mess has become personal to me -- and a bit ironic.

I am working a deal whereby I have obtained two power generating barge sets that produce a total of about 200 megawatts (that's enough fo power 200,000 homes) on behalf of a major California utility. The interesting part is that the utility can not get permission from California to bring these barges in from overseas and fire 'em up. (They run on diesel fuel and therefore have higher emissions than would natural gas fuel.) We have even offered to install scrubbers to reduce emissions - at a cost of about $10 million.

Seems that California has its head in the sand...still!

Come summertime they will be begging for these barges, but it'll be too late.

Check out power prices COB for the summer on this web site...also good power/energy news. (Prices updated during the day.)
