Randy McCoy of CKFR participated in a UBS Warburg panel discussion on EBP. Also present were executives from Spectrum and Bottom Line Tech. Replays at Domestic +1-(888) 821-9363.

I listened to the Spectrum and CKFR portions so far.

Spectrum comments:
-bank centric
-will promote open standards (OFX, IFX)
-first limited rollout late April (interpretation-more beta testing)
-more robust rollout late summer (interpretation-now we'll try it on real customers)
-will have 7 of the top 10 banks by year end
-all billers, BSPs and CSPs will have to be sponsored by member banks (interpretation - banks will collect a fee)

CKFR comments
-most of CKFR customers come from CKFR's 200+ banks
-wrote and co-own the OFX standard and co-chair the IFX committee
-fully operational now with quality metrics
-have 7 of the top 10 banks now
-USPS and BofA will launch multi-million dollar advertising campaign in the next 6 months (I didn't know the USPS had a campaign planned)
