Unlike a rising wedge, a move out of a falling wedge can be slow, and given that both Don and Heinz have potential retests coming later this week, all that seems to line up with what you say. Here's a thought: Fed cuts by 50, market sells off, but only retests before rallying. Is 150 bp of rate cuts bearish? Certainly not 6 months or so out, and the market tends to price in events 6-9 months ahead of time. Just a thought.
