Did you hear the big fat doughnut is to build another plant?
Btw
Did you know the average Krispy Kreme shareholder weighs over 200ibs with their clothes off?
Oh! 95% of the doughnuts customers also shop at Wal-Mart.
>WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., Mar 19, 2001 (AP Online via COMTEX) -- Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Inc. said Monday it plans to build an Illinois manufacturing and distribution plant to supply its stores in the Midwest and West.

The plant is the doughnut maker's first outside of North Carolina where the company is based.

Krispy Kreme submitted an option to buy about 34 acres in Effingham, Ill., for the plant. About a quarter of the plant will be dedicated to blending and packaging prepared doughnut mixes.

The site was picked because it is near major highway and rail intersections, Krispy Kreme said.

The 63-year-old North Carolina company operates 177 stores in 28 states.
