You should apply your criticisms to your own nonsensical arguments.

This doesn't explicate some imagined "law of diminishing utility":

The utility of my first cup of water is that it maintains life; the utility of the hundredth cup is that it satisfies the thirst of my cat; the utility of the thousandth cup is that it helps water my lawn.

The utility of the first dollars I spend is that they provide food and shelter; the last dollars I spend provide entertainment.


It doesn't even demonstrate what you think you want to show. It does show though that you've taken another economic concept and forced it onto where it will only go under nonsense. Why bother engaging with this silliness? All it does is reinforce an arbitrary collection of prejudices already assumed. This is representative of the worst aspect of academia.
