Harry... I know its hard to not be so cynical - I would be too if I had to put up with your government and politics.. but there just might be another reason.. we're far more environmentally enlightened then that bunch you have in office.. and any move that Bush does I immediately suspect because of his cozy oil ties. We wouldnt be deep-sixing anything. Another point.. Canada made our part of the Arctic a reserve back in the days of the Conservatives led by Brian Mulroney.. who personally advocated it ... this the man who was big on free trade and "open for business"... this was no pinko enironmentalist leader.. it was one of the few things he did I actually thought was a good thing
