<Of course Bezos is no Bill Gates. He does not have a $ 53M mansion in Medina.>

a 12M purchase followed by 12M for furnishing/remodeling isn't exactly shabby.....

<Bezos is no Bill Gates. Has Bezos conrtibuted even a penny to charitable causes? >

BG did not start giving until he was worth 60B and in his 40s. looks like Bezos can only count on the latter eventuality. <g>

<<Bezos is no Bill Gates. Has Bezos conrtibuted even a penny to charitable causes? And this is man of the year? >>

THE PERSON OF THE YEAR THING IS FOR THE PERSON WHO MADE THE BIGGEST IMPACT, GOOD OR BAD THAT YR. Not the most charitable donations. I believe Saddam Hussein was man of the year a few yrs back.
