reg...Pundit on CNBC says tobacco down on rotation into more active(volatile) issues on guess what fed will do.
I bought MO a little lower than you but not much but think it will be ok in the long run plus decent dividend.
Do you have any idea what the Kraft spinoff is supposed to do. I understand Kraft division"owes" MO 11 billion
dollars and results of sale (IPO) will accrue to MO investors?? Anyone with comments welcome. TIA
Ken

Any idea why the breakdown?

we are experiencing one if not the worse debacle in history regarding the Nasdaq. The central bank has displayed a rather indifferent and hostile attitude by allowing public confidence to slip 5 months in a row. Today they knew to break the dismal spell, short term interest rates should have been cut 75 basis points. The fact that 50 basis points was done was nothing more than arrogance and plain bullcrap. Those clowns should be fired and replaced a long time ago. Now everything is eventually going to be dragged down. There are no exceptions. We are indeed in a crisis. People will begin to really get the message when they look and see their 401k and every other type of savings investment accounts going down the tubes. Now a real full blown recession will set in because people will stop spending. Nice going Mr. Greenspan.

Frank

"Looks like this POS"

I wish I had more stocks like MO for the past 12 months.

Have you even owned the stock for a week?

Two tobacco trials began this week. Apparently this is the reason for the downturn.
