anybody who thinks anything is impossible is a fool, but, then again, you must have thought anyone who thought the nas could dive below 2k was / is a fool.

No one could realistically have expected more than 0.50% today. I think your point is very accurate, which is that the market is ready to rally at the slightest excuse. Now all we need is a hint of good news. But it doesn't seem like the coming Q reports will be good. So probably six more months of winter.
