incredible cnbs has clarabell and emmit kelly (for those old enough to remember) re: crammer and kudlow commenting on the fed. kudlow comments - not enough liquidity - and they give this guy credibility, jeeez

Hey Thomas, Rick Schottenfeld just compared the commentators whining about the .50 rate cut to kids demanding more candy. Did he steal that from you, or did you both steal it from some place else? <g>

His other point was that the downturn is not being driven by a credit squeeze, but rather by a massive inventory correction for which Fed rate cuts are irrelevant. It was refreshing to hear a Squawk Box host who is actually capable of discussing this intelligently instead of mindlessly parroting the rate cut mantra.
