There is a huge divergence in the Semi Conductors. The market has only targeted the Contract manufacturers and cut them down, The designers have valaution atleast twice their historical bear valuations. The overseas manufacturers have been more honest. they openly say the Inventory and SCM indicate that the earliest upturn will be mid 2002. Yet Wall street is not paying any attention to them or the Test Eqpt suppliers who are saying the same thing.

I believe the SOX is headed for rough passage ahead.

This is quite comical. It looks like the battle of wills between Green$ham and the market rages on. Remember the little boy who threatened to hold his breath until he got his way? Heh! The market is screaming at Green$ham, "I'm going to keep hurting myself until you give me my way!!! I really am!!!" Meanwhile, Green$ham refuses to blink because of his own eccentric, misguided ego. A very expensive game of STARE! Too funny.

>>> In Southern California we are experience first time blackouts, sucks <<<

Hello Bobby, and welcome to reality of the California legislature, which precipitated this mess.

I found, to my chagrin, that my office was in Block 11 today. We went black about 1 hour before the Fed cut, and stayed that way until about 30 minutes after. Try playing options in that environment. I had fun, and actually guessed right for a change.

Like your input, makes sense usually, and I do think we are about due for a big rally.

Sam
