Jim- 110F idle. 120F+ under load. Even a cheap heat sink/fan can keep the cpu running only problem is getting the heat out of the case. One case fan is not enough. I'm trying a 2coolPC Plus to see if that helps:

Other than that, it's liquid cooling for the rest of the year. It's cheap and I think worth it. You never get your investment back buying the latest cpu but you reuse your cooling equipment over and over again.
