RE: "I'm still waiting for 40 to cover. I had my finger (literally) poised over the Cover button, to cover if the Fed lowered by 3/4%"

I must say that as 11:15AM approached, my heartbeat increased a bit. I covered at 43 today because I'm trying to keep to a plan (attempt to clear 5-10% per swing trade and let others go for the major kill). I'm simply hoping to lock-in a few wins while the semi sector looks for a bottom. I believe we'll break past 40 and could easily test the December lows (that's where I'll be looking at initiating a long position). I think you'll have no problem locking in at 40. AMAT has been a strange bird over the last few months and has caught me looking the wrong way. But that's OK, as it's always good to be reminded how easy it is to call it wrong (as long as one doesn't get reminded too often!). I wouldn't be surprised to see a small bounce back to 45 tomorrow. If we get it, I'll definitely consider a new short play. Good luck to you.
