You might be right. I think the clearest signal the Fed sent today was that they would not lower rates to prop up the market. That means that they will lower rates at their own schedule without respect for what the markets are doing. In turn, that means that these markets don't have any support left, technical or fundamental. So down we go.

I say down with Alan Greenspan.
