Next they want to tell you how to configure your washing machine. No more wasteful (and inexpensive) top loaders. So now the washing machine industry is going to have to hire more lobbyist and make campaign contributions to make sure the new Federal specifications don't put them out of business, at the same time that sanctimonious simpleton McCain is crying about the evils of money in government. It's a racket and these guys are experts in shaking down industry and the American People. To allow a blockhead in Washington to determine what my toilet should be is a crime.
