Supposedly Athlon was designed for up to 14 way SMP. That was two years ago. Just now we are seeing 2 way SMP

Supposedly K7 was designed for a full speed BSB. Did you ever see a K7 with a full speed BSB? Supposedly K7 would come with up to 8 Meg of L2 cache. Did you ever see one of those? SMP? Where are you seeing anything except rumors?

Hard for me to believe that AMD would purposefully slow the introduction of notebook chips while Intel takes 95% of the market

They just don't want to confuse the market this close to Christmas...
