Sure...I agree but hey paper is paper whether it be certificates or cash...Both only have perceived value not real value, but that is the bond that holds society together...Remember the dollar is no longer backed by ANY assets...While IMO the dollar is overvalued it still can buy goods and services...Stocks in all reality are not much different from baseball cards because they only offer value in the eyes of the beholder...In a market environment like today I look for bargains and trade accordingly...Sure I was was short CMOS from last night and made a killing but that does not mean that I can never buy a stock as a long...I never owned AMZN and never played the mo-mo's but I have made a nice return buying equities when I felt that they were cheap...It has served me well even in this f*cked up market...Bottom line no matter how much cash you can accumulate it only serves you if there is perceived value to it...

Otherwise you get anarchy...
