How about a VIX of 150 ala Oct. '87? Actually thats interesting. In 1987 the market was near a peak and then fell sharply in a very shortlived crash. This decline has been going on for over one year. Barring depression, it would be absurd to expect another 33% in nasdaq after a 65% drop already. Value will be what gets growth stocks moving again.
