Frank. Re: And the Russian Space Station is coming back to earth, maybe to crash on the NYSE.

Glad to see that you have a little humor left. gg. I know that's hard to do today.

Yes, like I mentioned earlier, I was also looking for at least a 75 bp cut today. Why not cut right away some more if you give us all this forward looking crap. After being partly responsible for this situation we are in now, they could have been a bit more aggressive. This talk about not wanting to look like giving in to the stock market is for the birds. The FED had no problem letting us know that they were targeting the wealth effect when they raised the rates. So why not target the negative wealth effect?
And yes. It kind of makes you want to throw up when you are looking at your portfolio, especially when you are mostly in techs like I am.

I listened to a lot of doom and gloom on TV tonight. Mr. Russell of the DOW theory fame called the bull market dead.
Mr. Glassman still sees DOW 36000. Hopefully I will still be around then.

But Mr. Siegel, who called the market way overvalued last year, thinks the FED was too timid with their rate cut. He was looking for more. What a switch.

BTW. Surprise, surprise. The futures are up at this time. Go figure. After all this doom and gloom.
The Nikkei is up. They must have liked the FEDs rate cut.
