using the term "bear" loosely here to connote disapproving of the fed policy mistakes that led to the bubble -- but I doubt anyone would have been stubborn enough to hold Naz shorts from 98 to present -- maybe a few stoopit, right wing reactionary, goldbug, conspiracy theorists -- holding longs on the way down, waiting for the recovery that never comes: Now, that'd be the American way ... what do you think the guys who work at CNBC are really doing with their money (if I had to guess I'd bet the majority are short or in cash)
