Palm is now taking preorders for the m500 & m505. Lots of neat info on their web site. palm.com Visual + vibrating alarm. Really sexy expansion slot + built in 8megs memory + 16bit color screen + Palm V form factor = $450. Looks like the handheld that I was waiting for to upgrade from my 2+ year old Palm III. There is no info about the resolution of the screen. They keep pushing the fact that it's 16bit (>65k colors) Anyone want's to bet that it's still 160x160 :)? These m505's should be hot item's. I hope that they have build a solid inventory for them so that they can get a nice uptick in the ASP for next Q. TG Edit: Did I also mention that the m500/m505 come standard with software to edit/sync word/exce files!
