Lee, I didn't listen good try. I was channel surfing and say those clowns Battapaglia, Suze Orman, Maria Bartiromo, Ron Insana , Alan Chernoff ? No wonder i don't watch much TV . How about having Robert Shiller, David Tice, Doug Noland, Kurt Richebacher or our own Heinz ! Mythman can take the other side . Mike

Lee, I saw the show (a great personal sacrifice, having to sit through 30 minutes or so of Fattipaglia, Fart-Aroma, Ormond, Chernoff and Insano). You got your question off about to the point where you started talking about Sicko's balance sheet gaming and share dilution. Larry then asked Suze why weren't the analysts warning us. She claimed that she did (I have no idea if that was true or not). He then asked Fattipaglia to comment. First he downplayed the question, then Larry asked him if it was all BubbleBoy's fault. Joey ran with that one and said 3 things screwed up his market call last year: 1) BubbleBoy keeping rates too high 2) high oil prices and 3) the election. He went on to say that bullish analysts have been right for years, buy-and-hold has been a great call, yada, yada, yada.

Joey's whining immediately reminded me of two of the points in Cynic's now-classic Clown Manifesto:

Subject 32146

2. Who thinks that the Feds and AG have a panacea for market ills.
3. Who thinks that it is the duty of the Govt to save them from their stupid mistakes.

In other words the real reason no one warned J6P even though all the signs were there to see is that, on the whole, the analyst community is collectively a bunch of clowns.

Regards
