Don't you think the cowboys were running the herd today on wall street?

I don't fundamentally disagree with you. In fact, I value your opinion. But I think there is a lot of noise in the market and I am skeptical of any short term reads of this frenzy.

Nikkei up over 900 points. They are selling our stuff to prop up their market or their banks are declared official toast 31 March when the books are closed.

The big question is after the books are closed and all teh "i"s are dotted and "t"s are crossed. Will they come back here or what? Right now there is a risk free carry trade borrowing at zero percent interest there and investing it here in our bonds at almost 5%. Why risk stocks?

Good Luck,

Lee

** Sumpin' funny going on there... **

Not really. Japan's markets were closed Tuesday due to holiday. This is their first chance to react to the BOJ easy money policy announced after market close on Monday.
