thanks bud.....one thing i seen happen alot this year.....once a new low is made......theres still plenty more pain to come......

its a bottomless market.....

and right now the only thing longs have to look forward to is april 16 and a possible surprise rate cut in april.....

i will start fishing for bargains the last few days before april 15th......

or

if a surprise rate cut happens before the 16th......the big stocks would take off first and be hard to catch......so i would turn my attention to the last to run in the pump..... the cheapo's.....

there will be plenty of time to get the bargains.....roll!

surgical trading and patience are the key in a bear....

Everyone needs a translation guide in foreign countries....in the OTCBB world, this one looks pretty handy...LOLOL

Message Boards


“The Market Makers are walking it down, hold on tight to your shares.”

Translation: “If they believe this post I can still catch that bid before it drops.”



“There are no shares available, the Market Makers are scrambling.”

Translation: “Can you picture some trader at a major market making firm scrambling in a panic over a 5 cent stock? Didn’t think so, but it does sound funny.”



“Bashers never bash a bad stock.”

Translation: “Sounds good to me, after all, I wouldn’t buy a bad stock.”



“They are shorting the stock.”

Translation: “Guys, I don’t know why the stock is tanking after I bought.”



“I hear there will be several PRs coming out in the next few days.”

Translation: “I have seen this posted on other boards and the price goes up sometimes, so I thought I would try it here.”



“I hope it drops more, so I can buy more.”

Translation: “Makes me feel better about the share price tanking, otherwise it makes no sense at all.”


“This stock stinks, its going to go down to zero.” (Posted 20 times a day)

Translation: “I bought real high because I didn’t want to be left out and I have no cash left for anger management classes.”


“Buy now before its too late!” (Posted in March 2000)
Translation: “I like this new economy stuff, I’ll be rich in no time.”

“The company issued X amount of shares to various consultants.”

Translation: “We really rather not tell you exactly who got the shares.”



“The company suggests for shareholders to call in their certificates.”

Translation: “We like it when shareholders have their shares sitting on their desk, it makes it harder for them to sell.”



“We are a development stage company.”

Translation: “We don’t have a product and are not really sure when we will.”



“Majority shareholders voted to increase the number of authorized shares.”

Translation: “There are already enough shares issued for every man, woman and child in the world, but we need more cash and we can legally print all we want.”

“The shareholders will vote on _____.”

Translation: “No vote is necessary since 2 people own 80% of the stock but it makes shareholders feel like they actually have options.”


Press Releases


“The company will be splitting its common shares 10 for 1 to increase liquidity.”

Translation: “Sure the stock is only trading at 20 cents but we need to create some interest from the investment community.”



“The company will pursue legal action against several individuals on message boards.”

Translation: “We will need to issue shares to pay for this legal action since we don’t have any cash but its in the best interest of shareholders.”



“The company signed an agreement with Microsoft.”

Translation: “We are updating our 3 computers to Windows 98.”



“We will cooperate fully with the SEC investigation.”

Translation: “We really don’t have any choice.”


“The company is not aware of any material changes attributable to the stock price and volume surge in the past week.”

Translation: “Wow! We had no idea that promoter was this good, better keep his phone number handy.”



Promoters and Newsletters


“We feel the stock is very undervalued.”

Translation: “We received some cheap shares and would like to sell them a bit higher.”



“The stock reached a high of $8 in March 2000.”

Translation: “Every OTCBB stock hit $8 in March 2000”


“This is an exclusive opportunity for our members to be involved in a great company at the ground floor.”

Translation: “Ground floor was actually zero, the price we paid for the shares we received to send you this email.”


The Economy


“Alan Greenspan ruined the stock market and cost the American public trillions of dollars.”

Translation: “I was real greedy and I sure miss those days, why can’t a company that makes no money trade at $200 a share?”



“Those Wall Street analysts should be in jail for stealing from investors.”

Translation: “I invested my retirement money according to what some guy I have never hear of said on CNBC when I was home sick one day.”
