You are correct, Mike, for the European block which has a vested interest in delaying 3G until then, 2007 if I am remembering correctly, for the most basic essential patents without position location technology and without the many other enhancements added since then such as zero intermediate frequency (which greatly reduces asic production costs). Yep that is what I meant. It is the same damn thing here that is slowing DSL, cable and everthing else while the old stogies try and protect profits in T1 lines etc. I want a broadband connection but can not get one. sigh.... M
