Take a look at what the investment bankers are doing for LU right now. Morgan Stanley just bought 2.5 billion worth of Lucent debt that will be swapped for shares of Agere. Meanwhile, LU is getting ready to deploy the cash from the $6.5 billion IPO for new capital projects.

Doesn't seem that ironic that Morgan Stanley has also become the leading supporter for QCOM? They have the best visibility on the emerging CDMA contract opportunties and have placed some heavy bets that LU, QCOM, and CDMA.
