Daryl,I was thinking about these guys yesterday. Batman, Acapuncture, Rookheyser, Henry Bludgeon, Lazaras Burundi. The "Where have you gone Joe Dimaggio" line from Paul Simon comes to mind here.
But just imagine Daryl, wouldnt it be a rip if nasdaq did close the year at 4600. Did he say this today or is this old stuff. If it is old he probably will be down to 3000 by now. Mike

Actually, the Batman is now in between. His web site
gruntal.com
still shows the 4300 number as his "official" NAZ prediction for the end of this year. But his rhetoric is softer, as if to admit it probably won't hit that. This is what he did last year...sort of "Clintonesque"...he talks it down AHEAD of the offical drop in prediction so that it seems like just a "natural" and "obvious" change.

And, if the Naz DOES end up around 3000 or so, he'll say, "see, look how far off the bottom we came...I predicted it". Even though he fails to claim the responsibility for getting people (who listen to him)in, anticipating 6000 when they merely got 3000.
