I know you can't comment, but thought I would mention that after looking at the S&P chart I decided it had had a pretty good run to the downside and I covered my short, since I can only count it as short term capital gain anyway. Will put it back in on any kind of bounce.

I think I will probably hold my Dow LEAPs (140, 2002, YDXXJ) for the duration because each of them has about $1,000 of built-in value beyond the quote. Should the Dow drop to 8000, I would have about 150% gain on them and I can hold them for the long term.
