Well, Lorne, THANKS for that update. First our land is confiscated, then our business model is outlawed. Those of us in mining clean up after ourselves, because we reclaim as we go. It makes the most sense, economically. Bonds are a fact of life, but have been used as a weapon to keep us out of mining instead of matched to the cost of the reclamation. For instance, if I disturb the soil, which of course I must do if I'm mining in the first place, , then I put the topsoil over there, the rocks over here, the gold in my pocket, and when I'm done, I put the rocks back and the topsoil on top. Then I thin out a nearby stand of trees, (which are always free in the forest), plant them on my recontoured site, plant the approved native grasses, about 14 bucks for a 100# sack, spread some straw for giving the seed a chance, and move along. This is not brain surgery. Nor is it expensive.

Proposing rollbacks, and actually seeing the rollback occur are two different things, but this is hopeful.
Now, if we can just get our land back to mine on in the first place, then we'll be in good shape. Damn Clinton again and again and again...he's such a jerk, especially running amuck in the last few days in office.

Thanks again, Lorne, please keep me and the rest of us on this thread with such intense interest in things mined, in mind as you continue your fine surfing ways. I DO appreciate it!
