But it sounds like
solace in an otherwise hopeless situation.......

And I wish I understood why some non-human entity is required to provide hope and solace when the world is so full of wonder and possibilities. I can understand the need for those unfortunate ones who lead marginal lives--who need to believe there is something beyond--but for you, Neo, and me, I don't understand it. 'Tis a mystery.

P.S. If anyone here needs to be reminded about how fortunate they are, read this article about the suffering in Afghanistan from Sunday's Post.

Everything just is
and it's ok for me just to be
and I am
which is where I am
right now
That's what I observe
I might observe something else tomorrow
which would be ok too
you may be observing something else
and I don't have a problem with that
unless you choose to hit me over the head with it
with words like
"loss of nerve"
which seems nervy of you
in the other, not good, (imo) way
but maybe that's what you meant
in which case I agree
agnostics and atheists aren't quite as nervy
