Brian, There are many good reasons why Americans may want to stay with the biggest, most liquid and one of the most transparent financial markets in the world. Locals always know best what is going on, although distance sometimes adds perspective. It is not my desire to convince you to speculate in the Japanese market. Besides, there is very high exchange rate risk in investing in Japan. With zero interest rate, the yen could be in for a free fall. So if you do buy Japanese stocks, cya by shorting the yen. Fatigue is no excuse for sloppy writing. Sloppy writing is generally a good indicator of sloppy thinking. Go to bed when you are tired and preserve your good reputation. Sam
