You have to wait for the first wave to complete to get a decent measure, but in general, fibonacci relationships often do well to determine the length of the next 2 down waves. The proportion ratio in terms of a distance relationship for the next 2 waves suggest they are either equal in number of points, 0.618 times the length, 1.618 times the length (I think) or 2.618 times the length if it overextends.

I usually just eyeball it and look for waves to unfold in complete sets.
