Europe has begun to take on the same type of characteristics as USA more debt load on credit cards. though I sound like I come from Mars and don't believe in debt I do if it grows for productive reasons. Frankly I don't know what the average person can charge on a credit card that produces income for the person. It is a convenience in a department store necessary in business and swift method of getting cash in a hurry but this is not with interest added to the purchase cost. This is convenience of not writing a check or of going to the bank for cash.
I am wondering if this habit is limited to just the West Coast? Does anyone know where i can get a break down of debt per capita per State?
Because feel like i come from Mars i can envision a huge percent of older people in trouble about ten years from now. Costs are rising and their income isn't going to.
