ODB, if i may add, you might want to look at the Abacos, particularly Marsh Harbor. this area was settled by the royalist (people loyal to the crown during the american revolution). better fishing and diving and more of an old bahamian life style. haven't been to the islands in years, but even back then, grand bahama was developing just like stateside - of course, if you like the glitz of the casinos, etc., well? just a thought and have some cracked conch on me ;-) Bill/WA
