Neale Godfrey, the "Goddess of Money," was just on CNBC. She teaches her kids about taxes by withholding 15% from their allowances. All the amounts withheld are put into a common jar and the family votes on what to spend it on. Interesting concept.

You're one day off. The close on 1/14/00 was 11,722.98 and on the Yahoo link it is rounded off to 11, 723 for the close that date. I'm glad to have a use for keeping all these damn daily records
