jef, I agree about the "new awareness" just around the corner, but must disgree with your pro stock manipulation idea.

My biotechs are all doing the same thing as DMX.

Recently, ONC and AVAN have slid as well.
AVAN even had a strong buy recommendation put out today and the stock went down!

I saw the Rebecca interview last week and am encouraged by what I heard there and read here.
Being an O&G guy, I have little to contribute to this thread, but I am a believer in Pennsaid and am waiting for my double. LOL

Cheers to all and keep up the great posting.

Jef - I'm with Wolf on this one. We are getting to see the market's greed factor evaporate due to:
- fear;
- fear of fear; and
-a very debt-ridden US. Not only plastic and so on, but (the one I watch, as an investor) margin debt - which is at an all time high, I read somewhere.
The question I'm asking myself right now, is what do I buy and when do I buy it?
I got a quote from (brokers) SSB re: "a nice conservative bond portfolio". I was just kicking tyres, you know?
Cost was 6500/250k which is 2.6%. Now here is the funny part - you gotta hold this stuff for 3-5 years to get an annual yield of 4.5% (before costs of buying and selling).
This is what Wolf (he's really a Tiger) calls <the sweet spot>. Where widows and orphans start buying equities -
BECAUSE IT MAKES SENSE. Not meaning to shout - Wolf, how do I do that fancy italics stuff?
Anyways, as far as DMX is concerned, this whole panic thing is of no great meaning, unless RK needs to draw further on her Acqa line. And, let me say it, what a sweetheart deal she wrote with the financing. One smart lady.
Don.
PS has anyone seen my Canadian dollar. Drat - where's it gone to????
