The horse thief charge is unclearly supported, since Jesus speaks as if the horse were waiting for him, and as if the explanation that the "Lord hath need of him" would suffice.

And does this explanation (lol!)--and the other explanations you give...hold because it, and they, are reasonable? Or by virtue of the fact that we are talking about a prejudgement that the pig and fig hater is the Son of God, and God, etc.? In other words: If we were talking about Solon speaking as if the horse were waiting for him, and saying to the court of public opinion, presided over by Neocon, words such as: the "Lord hath need of him"--as if such words would suffice...would Solon be considered as guiltless as Jesus was alledged to be by yourself?

Clearly, if you have already answered the question of Jesus's divinity and moral uprightness prior to these concerns being expressed, then your response to them is meaningless to me and to others. I can only assume that I (Solon of Athens) can steal a horsey as long as I speak as if it is waiting for me, and as long as I say that "the Lord hath need of him", and as long as I send some others so that I don't get caught untying him from the owner's home in the village.

Obviously, nothing meaningful can be discussed as regards the arguments for or against the supernatural origin of the bible and its tales, if you enter every discourse with the postulation that there is no against.

You think about it, eh. I gotta sleep.
