You're missing the point. The point is to buy something at Costco you either 1) need the cash or 2) need an AmEx. When dealing with retail electronics, what percentage of buyers place large ticket items on some form of payment plan (60-90 days same as cash, multi-month financing, credit card) as compared to those who buy with cash outright as compared to the entire retail-buying public.
