ek, $40 on csco is equal to a $280 billion market cap. at 6%, that equates to about $16 billion in safe returns.

compare that to csco's $3.2 billion in *risky* earnings.

$16 billion safe or $3.2 billion risky?

the only reason to choose the $3.2 billion is the greater growth rate of roi. however, i see perfection written all over csco at $40 and the economic indicators do not point to perfection.

>But was csco selling at 40 bullshit?
Cisco is not a new economy company. Cisco came well before all the new economy crap Wall Street dumped on the public later.
Btw
I love it when new economy investors point out AOL, coming back from all those earlier losses.
Big FD deal! So, one in a thousand made it!
