My rooster has bad breath.
The other day, my scraps to my faithful laying chickens and one solitary rooster, included some onions. My rooster grabbed the onion delicacy and gobbled it down -- then set out to find the rest of the onions -- a "man" after my own heart -- Ah----those hens didn't know what they were missing -- they gobbled at lesser scrap fare, thanks to the roosters presence--- but the rooster settled in on the very best.
Let us learn the following:
A] He overlooked "bad breath" --
B] He quickly "discerned" the very best
C] He stood his ground and continued going for the best
D] He fended off his cackling adversaries, poised to win the fight
E} He wasn't timid in going for the "gold"

Ahhh---
the lessons of life.
The above has spiritual application as well.
-The rooster was used by God to crow at the proper time---in front of Peter
-The rooster stood his ground and kept crowing, and the third time he opened his cock-a-doodle-doo, Peter was alerted of his failure
-The rooster has succeeded in every generation in greeting the world every morning with his optimism for another day. He doesn't hold back his "crowing", concerned with offending people that are asleep.
-The rooster won't let bad breath, other scrap-fare, challenging hens, fellow-roosters stand in his way to "win" in different situations of life.
-Let us give thanks to God for his humble servant, the rooster.

Amen.
