keith...companies may start out with less then a profit, but excellent companies turn profitable very quickly...

unprofitable companies can survive with positive cash flow....its those that have neither profit or cash flow that tend not to succeed......more cash flow out, then what is returned does not a stable company make....

if it wasn't for the ipo mania, fed by icge, cmgi, and investment banks, most of these type companies would have never got off the ground.....commercial banks wouldn't touch them......burn through cash and no more left to burn...lights go out...
