Oh, I've ran into a few....but they arent cheap and they aint going for pennies on the dollar. Most will never hit the open market....why sell something at auction, when it's a product you could sell with a few phone calls. After all, while mothernature.bomb may be going under and have a server to spare, there are 5 other tech companies that will be expanding...... What I find funny about rh folks that say all these used servers will hurt sunw...most are coming from competitors of sunw...you dont think if the market is flooded with servers it wont effect hp, ibm compaq and etc.....Please...... SUNW is a solid company. Does it go lower? I have no idea, but this much I know, I wont lose much sleep over worrying about where my sunw shares are 10 years from now....but I am losing sleep trying to figure out how to buy more as long as she stays down.....heck, I own sunw for the long term, so the lower they bring her now, the better for me in the long run....can you imagine sunw at $5?? I'll back up the truck, and then forget about the shares for ten years....wonder what that truck will be worth then.......
