Maybe that is part of the reason Gold isn't moving up. Too many of us Gold investor's are looking for leverage. We are only buying the mining companies, forgetting about the real physical shiny stuff. Maybe we should start buying 10-20% physical cash bullion in our portfolio's vs T-bills.

I see Kitco makes it much easier for the small guy to purchase gold now. You can purchase 1/10th of an ounce at a time. They can keep it in a pool for you, until you wish to take delivery. Then you can get delivery in any form you wish.

Premiums on small bullion (1/10's) are much higher than on full 1 ounce coins.
Hint: Buy biggest denomination you can afford and get more gold per dollar.

A little high, other prices:

$ 29.50 at ajpm.com
$ 30.75 at mjpm.com

FYI: Tulving has 1/10 American Eagle for $27.99
