Dave,

I still think the Markman decision in which the judge chose the Infineon interpretation of the claims was based on the judge believing the Infineon had been "submarined" by Rambus. He believed the sworn testimony of the Infineon officials that they did not know about the Rambus IP.

I think the Markman decision will be overturned or neutralized by Infineon's behavior.

Well, here is my paranoid spin of events of the past two weeks.

Inf. knows it has a document problem. It leaks false report of judge's coming rulings to irresponsible rag, which prints it. Rambus stock tanks. Inf. floats same settlement proposal mentioned in transcript. Walkaway, basically. Figuring Rambus is whacked with max pressure to settle from directors, shareholders, street.

Rambus says no.

Documents appear. Hmmmmm.
