I'm for sure not saying that the solution to any 'energy crisis' is solely production. In point of fact I've stated here several times that *CONFISCATORY* rates of taxation should be applied to certain consumptive activities.
And that those revenues plus more should be used to *PROMOTE* conservation -- or else energy prices should be allowed to float free.

JBK, thanks for the link, and great post. I share the exact same views as you do, and I remain a Bush supporter even though I'm opposed to more drilling.
