Well, in a good summer, we may have two or three consecutive days above 30C (that's 86F). More than two counts as a heatwave and the tabloids come out in force with special articles on how to cope... Seriously, good weather here is no rain and anything sustained above 20C (about 68F). Sunbathing starts if it gets any warmer - a few years ago when I spent some months working in Texas, the only people by/in the outdoor pool in our block before May were me and an ex-pat New Zealander... Still, we are on a similar latitude to Newfoundland, so I suppose we compare well. Give thanks to the Gulf Stream/North Atlantic Drift.
