This economy runs on energy and that is just too important to entrust to the whims of supply/demand economics

Excellent point Roger.
We need someone like you to take over and clean up this mess....
This "rolling black out" will further cripple California's economy. And it is going to get worse....

Don't you think we should let Edison & PG&E go bankrupt and State takeover from here? (For they didn't wanted to do any dirty work, producing electricity, but rather just pass electricity someone else made and collect money)

The point of my question was that isn't it true that power in the SE is necessarily cheaper because of the large TVA infrastructure financed by the feds in the 30s. It was a gift.

<<<<This economy runs on energy and that is just too important to entrust to the whims of supply/demand economics because it takes years to build out the infrastructure. >>>

Well according to you I think that the automobile industry, shoe industry, housing industry, food industry, ect ect are to "important to entrust to the whims of supply/demand economics". How foolish a statement is that?

Actually the entire economy is too important to trust to politicians. People can vote with their dollars and do so every day.
