Addi - please don't mention eToys's as a Sun Customer - they were one of Intel's many me-too projects that went bust all on Intel Architectures - etoys, Pandesic, reel.com. Sun has its share of .bombs - living.com and i think pets.com but eToy's was such a detestable company i dont want them mentioned in the same breath as Sun. Your correct that the real effect of the .com phenomena was in the infrastructure build out - i think its ultimately easier to fill these pipes than looking for the ghosts of lost .com customers. So with the Phillips announcement yesterday along with deals with Sony and Bertelsmann and of course AOL/Time Warner - Sun fills those pipes with MP3, MPEG-4..whatever - internet use is growing by the day and Sun's big fr*ckin switch vision is more viable than ever - let Microsoft play in the SOHO market and with the "PC hobbyists".
