Jacob- I'm really not trying to be a stick in the mud here...but it makes no sense to me that Dec./Jan. was the bottom for the semis....when the picture has only gotten much worse since then.....what was a 2 quarter, "standard" inventory correction, has turned into a total whiteout......I would think, if December's logic were true, execs would be talking about how they are (fairly noticeably) working off inventories here.....

But I think the problem is not just supply...demand is falling way off a cliff....

I agree there is a dichotomy here. Either the market was smarter than all of us- back in December (worst news in...), OR the semis holding up is just the same headfake we've seen on many individual stocks.....ie., they put in some bottoming action...and then, whoosh...more downside...

One argument for: The length of time (3 months now)...that's pretty impressive. One argument against:
Semis still haven't gone back to 98 lows yet.....hmmm...does that make sense when the overall Naz is now pricing things back to that time?
