Petz, <new large-cache Palomino for servers and workstations.>

I thought OEM's didn't care for large-cache SMP processors, which was why AMD axed Mustang. Now what, did those OEM's suddenly change their minds?

My guess would be that dual Palominos with 256K L2 cache performed worse than expected on 760MP platform. Maybe they're feeling the heat from Intel's Foster?

What NEW PaloMeatHEad ?

In fact, there seems to be NO PaloMeatHead at all !!

AMD must have run into some serious problems with the HorseyChips - they can't even get to the starting gate !
